This course is for apprentices in Marine Servicing. When completed, the educational and training aspects of this course linked with work experience, will enable the apprentice to enter the marine service and repair industry as a qualified marine service mechanic.

Successful completion of this course with the relevant work experience will provide apprentices with the knowledge and skills required to work as a skilled vehicle body builder in the automotive industry.

On completion of this training and their work experience apprentices will be qualified to work in the automotive service
and repair industry as a Forklift Mechanic. Apprentices will develop competencies including those required to repair and service forklift engines, steering and suspension, fuel systems, transmissions, electrical systems, cooling systems, hydraulic systems and braking systems.

Successful completion of this course with the relevant work experience will provide apprentices with the knowledge and skills required to work in the Spare Parts and accesories sector of the automotive industry.

This training is for students wanting to work as a brake mechanic.   On completion apprentices should be able to repair hydraulic, air and electric braking systems, machine brake drums & disc rotors and repair electronically controlled anti-lock braking systems.

This training is for students undertaking an apprenticeship as an Automotive Mechanic - Engine Reconditioner. Apprentices will develop competencies including those required to repair engines, engine components, run, tune and test reconditioned engines.

This qualification is designed for apprentices undertaking an apprenticeship as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Road Transport). On completion learners will have developed a wide range of competencies including those required to repair and service heavy vehicle engines, steering and suspension, diesel fuel systems, transmissions, cooling systems, hydraulic
systems and braking systems.

Successful completion of this course with the relevant work experience will provide apprentices with the knowledge and skills required to work as a skilled vehicle trimmer in the automotive service and repair industry.

The training in the Certificate III in Automotive Manufacturing (Bus/Truck/Trailer) will address the requirements of the school based apprenticeship.
