For School Regions:
- Read the Information for DET School Regions document
- Gather Student Expression of Interest forms and Student Needs Assessment forms from schools
- Complete the Employer Questionnaire and Checklist for potential employers of an SBT. For SBAs, this process is conducted by the State Training Services Industry Training Advisor
- Gather Employer Expressions of Interest forms and Employer Questionnaire and Checklist forms
- Liaise with local State Training Services office re suitability of employer
- Send Student Needs Assessment form (if particular needs have been identified) to prospective employer/s for them to respond to
- Receive Student Needs Assessment form with employer response
- Gather relevant papers for sign up and Principal endorsement of training plan
- Provide advice to all parties about the notification process for any incidents, grievances or concerns, using the Incident Report.
