ANZ Traineeships available for Indigenous students in 2010/11
ANZ has recruited over 450 Indigenous Trainees in ANZ branches around Australia since 2003.
The Traineeships offer the opportunity to:
- Earn while you learn!
- Embark on a career with ANZ
- Acquire transferable skills such as team work, customer service, time management
- Gain a nationally recognised qualification in Certificate II or III in Business or Financial Services
ANZ is offering opportunities for School Based Trainees and a limited number of opportunities for Full Time Trainees.
The Traineeships are structured as follows:
- School Based Traineeships provide student in years 11 and 12 with paid branch work 1 day per week
and Certificate II in Business or Financial Services - Full Time Traineeships provide year 11/12 school leavers with full time work in combination
with a Certificate III in Financial Services.
A number of Trainees who have successfully completed a Traineeship now work as permanent employees in ANZ Branches and other parts of ANZ.
SBT's will commence in December 2010 for the duration of their Year 11 and 12 school years. FTT's can commence at any time during the year.
Expressions of Interest for SBT's are now open and close on 30th July 2010. Eligibility requirements and Expression of Interest forms are available at www.anz.com/indigenousemployment.
Applications for FTT's can be lodged after 01 October 2010.
